Kannabia's Afrodite is a hybrid creation combining the genetics of the legendary Jack Herer strain with a Morocco-origin sativa male known for hash production and distinctive citrus notes. The breeder, a veteran cultivator since the 1970s, refined this cross through selective breeding to create two distinct phenotypes: a fast-finishing indica suited to indoor cultivation and an early-maturing sativa better adapted for outdoor environments. Both expressions retain the signature psychedelic qualities associated with sativa-dominant varieties while incorporating improved yield potential and accelerated flowering.

The result is a balanced hybrid that delivers sativa effects alongside indica-style productivity and faster completion times. Plants display excellent trichome density, developing substantial resin coverage from the early flowering stage onward. Foliage consists of narrow, finely-toothed leaves in dark lime-green tones, with a particularly aromatic stem profile when handled. The plant exhibits classical sativa branching patterns, with a prominent central cola and lateral branches developing symmetrically. Stems establish strength immediately during growth.

This variety demonstrates robust disease resistance with no notable issues concerning mold, fungal pathogens, spider mites, thrips, or aphids. Vegetative growth benefits from a 12-to-15-day phase; extending beyond this risks excessive vigor. Root development is vigorous and dense, requiring adequate container volume. Nutritionally flexible, Afrodite tolerates elevated EC levels progressively increased weekly, converting mineral availability into dense flower structure. Indoor flowering completes in eight weeks; nine-week cycles produce superior results. Outdoor harvest timing ranges from late September through early October for more sativa-leaning phenotypes.
