This hybrid strain represents an innovative pairing of two distinguished genetics: the renowned Cherry Pie Kush from Mendocino combined with a Mendodawg Horizons male from Gage Green Genetics. The breeding project began in 2014 when cultivators used pollen from the Mendodawg Horizons male to fertilize an outdoor Cherry Pie Kush plant. Following an intensive year of evaluation and refinement, breeders identified multiple promising female and male plants suitable for developing subsequent generations.
