This strain evolved from a landrace strain discovered in Afghanistan and refined through decades of selective breeding before being stabilized into a potent, high-yielding plant featuring striking purple hues.

To create the accelerated version, breeders employed genetic engineering techniques, strategically crossing multiple Kabul generations using specialized computational models. This process identified the fastest-finishing phenotypes, which were then crossed together and extensively stabilized to produce Kabul Fast Feminized—a resinous, hashy-type flower that matures rapidly without sacrificing structural integrity.

This cultivar exhibits vigorous growth during its vegetative phase and adapts well to multiple growing environments: hydroponics or soil, indoor or outdoor settings, and greenhouse operations. Its mountain heritage gives it resilience in less-than-ideal conditions, though optimal results require abundant lighting, appropriate watering schedules, and proper nutrient management.

Training methods significantly impact final structure. Young plants benefit from low-stress approaches like LST or ScroG, while mature specimens tolerate more intensive techniques including topping, FIM, supercropping, and defoliation. Well-trained plants develop into dense, pyramid-shaped flower clusters.

The aroma profile features prominent earthy notes with woody and spicy undertones. During the final 2-3 weeks before harvest, foliage may display violet, pink, and blue coloration.
