The SolarXtreme 250 is California LightWorks' entry fixture, built for grow tents and smaller scale home growing. Despite the 250 in the name it draws just 200 watts, at a maximum current of 1.6 amps at 120 volts.
It runs LUMILEDS diodes on a fixed full spectrum — no channels to balance, no controller to configure. It ships fully assembled and plug-and-play, which is the whole pitch of the SolarXtreme line against the company's programmable fixtures.
That 1.6 amp figure is worth noting if you are adding a light to a circuit that already carries a fan, a filter and a dehumidifier. Proudly made in California, per the maker.
