Ecothrive Charge is an organic, insect-derived soil conditioner and biostimulant made from mealworm frass — the excrement, body parts, and residual feedstock of farmed mealworms. It's 100% organic, Soil Association certified, and OMRI listed, making it one of the most rigorously verified organic soil amendments available.

Charge works through multiple mechanisms: the frass provides a balance of slow-releasing primary nutrients that boost and prolong growing medium fertility; the natural insect-derived chitin triggers the plant's systemic immune response (the same response activated by pest attack), causing significant increases in natural pest and disease resistance; and the diverse organic matter feeds soil microbial populations that cycle nutrients efficiently.

The result is visibly stronger plants with improved root zones, better resistance to insects and disease, and higher productivity. Mix into substrate at 1% by volume (1 litre per 100 litres of growing medium) before planting. Can also be used as a top-dressing or diluted for foliar or root applications.
