Agrothrin natural insecticide powder

Growth Technology Agrothrin is a natural insecticide powder containing 0.11% pyrethrin derived from chrysanthemum flowers, synergized with piperonyl butoxide (PBO). The PBO component increases the efficacy of the pyrethrins and inhibits insects' natural resistance mechanisms, making Agrothrin more effective than straight pyrethrin products.

Pyrethrins cause rapid knockdown of insects followed by death, affecting flying and crawling insects including aphids, thrips, flies, cockroaches, and other common grow room pests. The powder application format — dusting rather than spraying — provides a key advantage: the product persists much longer in a grow room environment than liquid sprays, offering extended protection between applications.

Apply by dusting the powder on soil surfaces, around the base of plants, and on growing medium tops where insects enter and exit. Also effective when dusted on leaf surfaces for flying insect control. Safe for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for use throughout the grow cycle, though avoid applying directly to flowers close to harvest.
