Calcium Kick

Calcium Kick by Plagron is a dry granular soil amendment used to correct calcium and magnesium deficiencies while simultaneously raising and stabilizing the substrate pH. Made from lime-based compounds, it works by gradually releasing calcium into the growing medium as water and organic acids break down the granules.

Apply Calcium Kick by mixing into the growing medium before planting or top-dressing during the grow. It raises pH toward the ideal soil range of 5.5–6.5, making it particularly useful when growing in acidic or depleted substrates that have drifted below the optimal pH window. Correcting pH passively through substrate amendment, rather than liquid pH adjusters, results in a more stable growing environment over time.

In addition to pH stabilization, the available calcium supports cell wall integrity and prevents classic deficiency symptoms like tip burn, hollow stems, and dead growing tips. Suitable for use in soil-based cultivation from the start of the grow through bloom.
