Coco Perlite

Professor's Nutrients Coco Perlite is a pre-mixed coco coir and perlite growing medium. The combination of coco and perlite creates an optimal balance between moisture retention and drainage, with the perlite providing additional air pockets in the root zone compared to straight coco alone.

Coco coir provides excellent water-holding capacity and natural antifungal properties, while perlite — a lightweight volcanic glass — prevents compaction and maintains oxygen availability even under heavy irrigation. The resulting mix is particularly forgiving for growers managing fertigation schedules, as the perlite gives a wider window between dry and oversaturation.

Works with any coco-compatible nutrient program, including Professor's Nutrients' organic line. Suitable for all container sizes and can be used in automated drip systems. Pre-mixed ratio means consistent performance from bag to bag.
