Buffer 4 & 7

VitaLink Buffer 4 & 7 is a pH calibration reference solution kit used to calibrate pH meters for accurate growing environment monitoring. The kit includes solutions calibrated to pH 4.0 and pH 7.0 — the two standard reference points used for two-point calibration of pH meters, which is the most accurate calibration method for meters with adjustable offset and slope settings.

Accurate pH measurement is fundamental to cannabis cultivation — the solubility and plant uptake of every nutrient is directly determined by solution pH, and even small inaccuracies in pH reading can lead to hidden lockouts that appear as nutrient deficiencies. Regular calibration with certified pH buffer solutions ensures your meter gives reliable readings.

Use the pH 7.0 buffer to calibrate the meter's neutral point, then the pH 4.0 buffer to set the slope. Always rinse the probe between calibration solutions.
