Blueberry Jam Regular

Blueberry Jam Regular from Dr. Atomic Seeds crosses the breeder's own Northern Lights #5 with an F2 of DJ Short's Blueberry. The Canadian breeder first released the combination in 1997, originally through Vancouver Seed Bank, and the current listing is described as the present-day version of that cross; a later re-release also circulated under the name Atomic Jam. It is classed as mostly indica and has only ever been offered as regular seeds. Plants are short and stocky, and a grower who ran four seeds reported four distinct phenotypes, only one of which carried the full blueberry jam aroma and the potency the breeder describes. Cannabis Culture documented a harvest of very large, sticky colas from the line.

The breeder describes a deep, penetrating high. Growers who have smoked it report a comfortable, long-lasting effect that lifts the mood without much anxiety and stops short of full couch-lock at moderate doses, with heavier sessions leaning toward sleep. Consumers describe it as giggly and relaxed, suited to evenings. Dr. Atomic has not published THC or CBD figures, and no lab data for this cross could be found.

The signature phenotype smells and tastes of sweet blueberry preserves over an earthy, herbal Northern Lights base; myrcene, caryophyllene and pinene are the terpenes expected from the parents. Growing is easy: 8–9 weeks of flowering indoors (growers report 8–10), roughly 90–120 g per plant according to the breeder, and an outdoor finish in mid to late September in Canada.
