Dark Star is an indica-leaning hybrid bred from Purple Kush and Mazar I-Sharif genetics. This cultivar produces exceptionally dense, rock-hard flower clusters and delivers substantial potency levels.

The strain exhibits traditional Afghan phenotype characteristics, featuring a prominent central cola, sturdy lateral branches, and tightly-packed buds. Growth progression is gradual, with a flowering period of 9-10 weeks yielding approximately 400-500 gr/m². Foliage displays deep green coloration with subtle blue undertones. As harvest approaches, the bud pistils develop striking pink-red coloration. Trimming is relatively straightforward due to the plant structure.

Consumers report a smooth flavor profile with prominent nutty undertones. The onset of effects is notably rapid.
