F.O.G. (Fruit of the Gods)

F.O.G. — Fruit of the Gods — is a sativa-dominant hybrid from Delta 9 Labs that crosses the legendary NL5 Haze female with a Skunk #1 male. The name was inspired by the breeder's reaction to the first sample of this strain: despite its heavy haze heritage, it produced an unexpectedly vivid, fruity flavour that felt almost otherworldly.

The cross runs 65% sativa / 35% indica, and the F.O.G. #11 phenotype — selected from the first run — has remained the defining example of the line. Flowering takes 80–85 days, typical for NL5 Haze-influenced varieties. Yields are generous at 500–600 g/m² indoors, with the plant handling indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse environments.

Effects are predominantly cerebral — uplifting, creative, and engaging without the anxious edge that some pure hazes can produce. The indica component from Skunk #1 adds a body layer that rounds out the experience and improves manageability. F.O.G. has been noted as particularly effective for headache and migraine relief.

The flavour profile is its most celebrated trait: intensely fruity and sweet, with tropical notes that feel incongruous with — but complementary to — the haze genetics. The aroma is complex and evolving through the cure.
