About Huckleberry Kush 2012
Huckleberry Kush stands out as a significant therapeutic cultivar with considerable potency.
**Genetics - Female Parent:** This strain descends from an Oregon Afghanai cutting that originated in the early 1980s. Despite sharing the visual and aromatic characteristics typical of Kush varieties, the Oregon Afghanai lineage predates the widespread adoption of the Kush nomenclature in contemporary cannabis cultivation.
**Genetics - Male Parent:** A carefully selected male specimen from the 2012 Huckleberry generation was chosen to produce this cross.
**Phenotype #1 (30% expression)** exhibits stronger Huckleberry characteristics and tends toward a lighter, frost-covered appearance. The pistils on this variant are notably thin and delicate.
**Phenotype #2 (60% expression)** demonstrates stronger Oregon Afghanai traits while remaining substantially influenced by paternal genetics. Buds develop with thicker, more compact structures, and pistils tend to grow in upright, uniform patterns. This phenotype showcases a more pronounced soil-forward Kush flavor profile with spice notes, though the berry undertones remain distinctly present across most individual plants.
**Additional Phenotypes** observed represented minor variations within the two primary phenotypic expressions described above.
