Lava Flower

Lava Flower is a flower cultivar from A Golden State, the Shasta County, California producer that grows indoors and packages eighths in white glass jars; it is sold only through dispensaries and is not available as seed. The brand lists the lineage as Chem 91 crossed with Northern Lights and sells it as a sativa, while GrowDiaries quotes a 70/30 sativa lean that no brand source confirms. A retailer describes dense, resinous buds in deep purple and forest green with fiery orange pistils under a thick layer of trichomes.

A Golden State describes an energetic, cognitive high in which focus heightens and creativity flows, and its Leafly copy calls the flower heavy-hitting and fast-acting with an invigorating cerebral effect. Purple Lotus tags it energetic, creative and relaxed, and a retailer blog recommends it for active consumers. The brand's Leafly listing states 34 to 36 percent THC and 39 to 41 percent total cannabinoids, while a Purple Lotus batch showed 28.65 percent THC and 0.08 percent CBD, so potency depends on the batch.

The aroma is diesel and blueberry, and the taste runs to candied lemon and lime with a sour candy edge, which the brand describes as diesel and citrus intertwined like candied rocket fuel. Leafly lists terpinolene, limonene, myrcene, caryophyllene and pinene as dominant terpenes. As a dispensary product, Lava Flower has no published flowering time, height or difficulty, and GrowDiaries records no harvests.
