Orange God

Orange God is a regular-seed hybrid from Higher Ground Cannabis, a small California breeder that builds much of its catalogue around a '97 KC 36 male and sells its own F1 and F2 crosses in 10 to 12 seed packs; its Starburst 36 line has also been produced as flower and hash by 710 Labs. The mother of Orange God is a Starburst 36 phenotype (Starburst OG x '97 KC 36) selected for an orange-soda candy profile, and the father is a KZ male from Zkittlez x '97 KC 36. Plants are compact and upright with stacked calyxes and dense, heavily frosted buds, since the line was selected with solventless hash washing in mind.

Consumers describe Orange God as an energetic, uplifted daytime strain. The onset is quick and cerebral, bringing creative focus and a bright mood that gradually tapers into a balanced calm rather than sedation. Listings place THC at 22–27% with CBD below 1%, so it is a strong strain suited to consumers with some tolerance. Dry eyes and dry mouth are the most commonly reported side effects.

The flavour is the main attraction: orange soda and citrus zest over ripe mango and melon, with a creamy, candy-like sweetness from the Starburst parent. Limonene leads the terpene profile with myrcene and caryophyllene in support. Growing difficulty is moderate. The compact structure suits indoor tents and sea-of-green setups, flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks (55 to 65 days), and yields are described as medium, with heavy trichome production that suits ice-water extraction.
