The strain's name derives from its distinctive appearance: a coating of luminous trichomes with a silvery sheen that contrasts beautifully against the deep green foliage. The genetics trace back to the original White Widow work by Shantibaba, with breeders having selected superior parent stock to establish this remarkable variety.

The strain is marked by a notably robust scent profile. Rather than floral characteristics, Silver Widow delivers pungent, acrid notes comparable to skunk genetics. The effects provide a balanced combination of both relaxation and uplifting mood enhancement, while still allowing room for creative mental engagement.

Silver Widow excels in cultivation difficulty, making it accessible to growers of all experience levels. The plant demonstrates strong resistance to common pests and pathogens and exhibits vigorous growth rates.

Indoor cultivation: Approximately 65 days from flowering initiation to harvest, with yields reaching 600 g/m²

Outdoor cultivation: Plants typically achieve heights of 2 metres, producing approximately 700 g per plant. In the Northern Hemisphere, harvest generally falls between late September and early October.
