Sugar Kush

Sugar Kush is a feminized indica from Dizzy Duck Seeds, a Dutch seed company that built its name on Highlife Cup results in Amsterdam. The breeder lists the cross as Candy Kush x Hash Plant, pairing the OG Kush and Trainwreck background of Candy Kush with the compact Afghani and Northern Lights heritage of Hash Plant. Sugar Kush placed at the Highlife Cup in both 2015 and 2016, and Dizzy Duck describes it as a pure indica. Plants form dense, chunky buds with heavy resin coverage.

Consumers describe a heavy, body-centred high that arrives quickly and settles into deep relaxation. Growers and reviewers report sleepiness and a strong appetite as the effect develops, so it suits evening use rather than daytime tasks. Dizzy Duck publishes a THC content of around 20%, with CBD not stated, which places it in the potent range for a classic Kush-type indica, and newer consumers should approach it slowly.

The reported flavour is sweet and sugary with pine and earthy hash notes and a faint skunky edge, in line with a terpene profile led by caryophyllene, limonene and pinene. Sugar Kush is considered easy to grow: it stays short and cooperative, tolerates Sea of Green and ScrOG setups and needs little beyond standard feeding. Indoor flowering takes about 9 weeks, with the breeder quoting 400 to 500 g/m2 under SOG conditions. Outdoors it finishes in early to mid October and does well in temperate climates.
