Super Star

Super Star is a unique F2 cross of the legendary Sensi Star, created by Delta 9 Labs using original Paradise Seeds genetics. Sensi Star was a multiple award winner at Highlife and High Times in 1999 and 2000, and remains one of the most respected indica-dominant Dutch varieties. Delta 9 Labs created the Super Star by pairing a prize-winning Sensi Star mother with the oldest Sensi Star male they could locate in Amsterdam — specifically seeking sativa-leaning phenotypes to shift the F2 population toward a more cerebral expression.

The result is a 70% indica / 30% sativa strain that defies typical indica expectations. Rather than couch-locking sedation, Super Star delivers an uplifting, creative, and clear-headed experience — with an intensely sweet, complex aroma combining lilac and lemon in a pairing that is difficult to find in other varieties.

Flowering is one of the fastest in the Delta 9 Labs range at 56–60 days, making Super Star a practical option for growers running multiple cycles per year. Yields are 300–500 g/m² in a well-managed indoor setup. The strain also performs outdoors and in greenhouses in warm climates.

The name reflects two qualities: the extraordinary trichome production — which coats plants in a layer of crystal comparable to the best hash-making varieties — and the enlightening quality of the high, which is described as making users feel elevated and inspired.

Super Star suits intermediate growers and is a particularly valuable genetics platform for breeders, having been used by Delta 9 Labs in the creation of several other catalogue strains.
