Top Banana OG Regular

Top Banana OG is a regular-seed OG hybrid from Higher Ground Cannabis, a small California breeder that focuses on resin-forward cultivars for solventless hash makers. The cross uses a Banana OG mother, the indica-leaning Banana Kush x OG Kush hybrid known for its sweet banana pastry aroma, and a Topanga OG Kush F12 male, an inbred selection of the Topanga Canyon OG cut. Seeds come in 12-count regular packs. Plants have a sturdy OG frame with strong lateral branching, and they finish with dense, spear-shaped colas covered in frosty trichomes.

Consumers report an uplifted, happy onset that settles into deep physical relaxation, a fairly typical OG pattern that leans toward the evening as the effect matures. The breeder selected the line for high THC expression with near-zero CBD, and listings quote about 25% THC, so it is a potent strain more suited to experienced consumers than beginners. Dry mouth, dry eyes and occasional dizziness are the most commonly reported drawbacks.

The aroma is unmistakably OG: pine cleaner and gasoline fumes wrapped in banana candy sweetness, with the same diesel, pine and sweet notes carrying into the taste. Limonene and pinene lead the terpene profile with a caryophyllene backbone. Difficulty is moderate; the plant grows to medium height and responds well to topping and canopy management. Indoor flowering takes 9 to 10 weeks (60 to 70 days), outdoor plants finish in mid to late October, and growers describe yields as solid, with resin production that makes it a strong candidate for ice-water hash.
