Tuna Kush Regular

Tuna Kush is a British Columbia legacy strain that Reeferman Seeds sells in seed form, and the breeder describes it as a heritage Hindu Kush variety with origins in old hash smuggling routes rather than as a modern outcross. Seedfinder records the genetics as Hindu Kush worked back into itself, which agrees with that account. Reeferman is the long running Canadian breeder associated with Charles Scott, and its own pages claim Tuna among the strains it created. The cut has a reputation in Canada as one of the strongest available, and descriptions point to small, dense nuggets hard caked with resin that turn purple in cooler temperatures. The plant drips resin through every growth phase.

Effects are described as strong, physical and narcotic by the breeder, and consumers report sleepiness, relaxation, a tingling body feel and euphoria. Reeferman markets it to medical growers for strong, immediate relief, and the profile is clearly a night time one. No breeder or laboratory THC figure has been published. Leafly prints 18 percent and a generated guide gives a wider range, but neither is measured, so the cannabinoid fields are empty.

The aroma is a complex kushy funk that the breeder singles out as the reason the strain is sought after, and Leafly adds pungent skunk and fuel with a delicate sweetness. Leafly reports myrcene, pinene and ocimene as the likely terpenes. Indoor flowering runs eight to nine weeks with about 25 percent stretch, though the breeder warns yields are modest and odour control is needed.
