White Bhutanese represents a distinctive sativa-leaning cultivar drawing its lineage from authentic Bhutanese landraces. This feminized variety maintains genetic proximity to its original wild ancestor, separated by merely a single generation. The strain exhibits outstanding resistance to fungal issues and thrives in hot environmental conditions.

The plant displays the characteristic towering growth pattern typical of sativas, featuring widely-spaced nodes along the stem. In warm regions such as Mediterranean climates, specimens can exceed 2.5 meters in height, making strategic pruning advisable for space-constrained operations. However, growers should exercise restraint with cutting, as landrace sativas can respond negatively to aggressive trimming. Low-stress training techniques prove particularly effective with this strain. Notable for its prolific resin production, White Bhutanese produces an exceptionally pure, translucent-to-cloudy extract that serves as a defining characteristic.
