Knights of the Templar

Knights of the Templar, listed on AllBud simply as Templar, is an in-house indica from Denver Patients Group, a medical dispensary and cultivator in Denver, Colorado. The cross is Chem 4 x King's Kush, joining the fuel-heavy Chemdawg 4 selection with Green House's King's Kush (OG Kush x Grape). AllBud files it under indica, although the Chem 4 parent is itself a hybrid, so indica-dominant is the more accurate label. Buds are described as fuzzy olive green with minty patches, fiery red-orange pistils and a fine coat of trichomes on a compact Kush structure.

This is a nighttime strain. Consumers report a fast-arriving body melt, deep calm and strong sleepiness, with couch-lock common at larger doses and a gentle lift in mood underneath. AllBud lists 22–25% THC, with one reviewer reporting a batch tested at 29.4%, and the dispensary notes that it is not recommended for new consumers; CBD has not been published. Evening and pre-bed use is the norm.

The aroma is diesel-forward and pungent, and the taste is a skunky Kush with rubbery fuel notes and touches of citrus and earthy sweetness, pointing to caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene. Because Knights of the Templar is a dispensary cultivar rather than a seed release, grow data is thin: GrowDiaries lists medium height, indoor flowering of 8 to 9 weeks and around 400 g/m2, and suggests light training with good airflow for the dense buds. Kush-type genetics of this kind are usually forgiving for less experienced growers.
